Worldline Smart POS integration with Wrapp: myDATA guide
Worldline Smart POS does not use an authorization code. It connects with your Worldline email and the Terminal ID, in three steps in the app or with one API call.

Wrapp is a licensed ΥΠΑΗΕΣ provider, certified by AADE, the Greek tax authority. To issue receipts paid through Worldline Smart POS on your phone, the connection takes three steps. Smart POS does not use an authorization code: it connects with the email of your Worldline account and the Terminal ID.
Why you cannot find an authorization code. Most POS terminals connect with a code from the provider. For Smart POS, Worldline issues no code, and none is needed: your Worldline email takes its place. Neither the Merchant ID (MID) number nor your Wrapp login email goes in.
1. Activate Smart POS with Worldline
Worldline Smart POS is a Worldline app for Android devices, and you activate it with Worldline itself. Keep two details: the email you are registered with at Worldline, and the Terminal ID (TID) shown in the Worldline Smart POS app.
2. Add a new device in Wrapp
In Wrapp, open the POS integrations and press «New POS Device». From the logos, pick the one that reads Worldline Smart POS, the last in the list. The plain Worldline logo is for its physical terminals and asks for an Authorization Code.
Settings → Integrations → POS → New POS Device → Worldline Smart POS
3. Enter your Worldline email and the Terminal ID
In the Merchant Email field, enter your Worldline email, not the email you sign in to Wrapp with. Below it, give each row a Name for the device and its Terminal ID, with the toggle on Enabled. The «+» adds more terminals under the same email. Then press «Save Changes».
Through the API
If you register terminals on behalf of your merchants, the same connection is one call. For the worldline_softpos type, and only for it, merchant_id holds the Worldline email, and you send no authorization_code. The name is optional.
{
"name": "Worldline Smart POS",
"pos_type": "worldline_softpos",
"terminal_id": "12345678",
"merchant_id": "[email protected]"
}
For each additional terminal, send the call again with the same email and a new terminal_id: the terminal joins the same Worldline account. Every field is in the REST API documentation, under POS Devices. Staging is self-serve: sign up for free with your VAT number and, once you have set a password, press «Try the API».
After the connection
From here on you issue the receipt as usual and pick POS as the payment method: the charge goes to your phone, and the receipt and payment are transmitted to myDATA automatically. If you run another terminal too, see how to connect the Viva softPOS, NBG Pay POS with EDPS and NBG Pay Tap on Mobile.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an authorization code for Worldline Smart POS?
No. Smart POS connects with your Worldline email and the Terminal ID. If Worldline tells you there is no authorization code for Smart POS, that is expected: it issues codes only for its physical terminals.
Which email goes in the Merchant Email field?
The email you are registered with at Worldline. It can differ from the email you sign in to Wrapp with, and in that case only the Worldline one counts.
Can I enter my Merchant ID (MID) number instead of the email?
No. For Smart POS the field takes an email. If you enter the Merchant ID number, the connection does not complete and the payment does not open on the device.
I have more than one Worldline Smart POS terminal. What do I do?
Enter the same email once and use «+» to add one row per device, each with its own Terminal ID. All terminals stay under the same Worldline account.
Which devices does Worldline Smart POS run on?
Worldline offers Smart POS as an app for Android devices. To check whether your own model is supported, ask Worldline.
How do I issue a receipt with POS payment in Wrapp?
Once the connection is complete, you issue the receipt in Wrapp with POS as the payment method: the charge goes to your phone, the customer pays by card, and the receipt and payment are transmitted to myDATA automatically.
Can I test it before going live?
A production Smart POS device does not work with a Wrapp test account. For testing you need a Worldline demo account, which you request from Worldline. Wrapp staging is self-serve: sign up for free and press «Try the API».
What about Worldline physical terminals?
They connect differently. Under New POS Device you pick the plain Worldline logo and enter the Authorization Code that Worldline gives you for the terminal.
