epay POS and SoftPOS integration with Wrapp: myDATA guide
epay connects to Wrapp with a single one-time code. You get it from the terminal's «ΑΑΔΕ ΜΕΝΟΥ» (AADE menu) or from the epay SoftPOS Connector on your phone. Both routes, step by step.

Wrapp is a licensed ΥΠΑΗΕΣ provider, certified by AADE, the Greek tax authority. With epay, the connection in Wrapp is a single field: the connection code (Authorization Code), a one-time code that epay itself generates. You get it in one of two ways, depending on your device:
- An epay card terminal, such as a PAX A80, A920 Pro, A8900 or Sunmi P2SE: the code comes from the terminal's «ΑΑΔΕ ΜΕΝΟΥ» (AADE menu).
- epay SoftPOS on your phone: the code comes from the epay SoftPOS Connector, the middleware app that sits next to SoftPOS.
One code, every terminal. You do not need a Merchant ID or a Terminal ID per device. With the code, Wrapp pulls in the terminals of your epay account by itself. The code is single-use, though: if Wrapp says it has already been used, generate a new one.
A. epay card terminal
1. Close the batch
In the epay app on the terminal, close the batch first. If any transaction is still pending, AADE activation does not complete and the terminal tells you so on screen.
2. Get the WebECR code
On the home screen press «ΑΑΔΕ ΜΕΝΟΥ» (AADE menu), then «Λήψη κωδικού WebECR» (get WebECR code). A one-time code of 6 or 8 digits appears and also prints on a slip. Keep it for Wrapp.

3. Check the ECR settings and activate
In «ΑΑΔΕ ΜΕΝΟΥ» open «Ρυθμίσεις ECR» (ECR settings). Update Mode should be MANUAL, USB, RS232 and TCP off, POS Print Reports on, and CLOUD set to AADE. If CLOUD shows any other value, contact epay. Then press the green «ΕΝΕΡΓ/ΣΗ» (activate).

4. Connect the terminal to the middleware
Go back to the home screen and press «ΣΥΝΔΕΣΗ MIDDLEWARE» (connect middleware). Once it shows MIDDLEWARE CONN STATUS: ON, the terminal is waiting for a command from Wrapp. If none arrives within two minutes, it disconnects and you press it again.
5. Enter the code in Wrapp
In Wrapp press «New POS Device», pick the epay logo and enter the code in the Authorization Code field. Press «Save Changes»: Wrapp pulls in the terminals of your epay account by itself.

B. epay SoftPOS on your phone
1. Install the epay SoftPOS Connector
On the same Android phone that runs epay SoftPOS, install the epay SoftPOS Connector app from Google Play. It is the middleware that carries the charge from Wrapp to SoftPOS.
2. Sign in to the Connector with TID and VAT number
Open the Connector, press «ΣΥΝΔΕΘΕΙΤΕ» (sign in) and enter the TID and your business VAT number (ΑΦΜ). The TID is under Settings in the epay SoftPOS app. Tick «Αποθήκευση παραμέτρων σύνδεσης» (save sign-in details) so you do not type them again.
3. Generate the OTP code
In the Connector open «ΡΥΘΜΙΣΕΙΣ» (settings) and press «Δημιουργία OTP» (generate OTP). The one-time code appears. Keep it for Wrapp.

4. Enter the code in Wrapp
In Wrapp press «New POS Device», pick the epay logo and enter the code in the Authorization Code field. Press «Save Changes» and your SoftPOS appears among your POS devices.

At the till
You issue the receipt in Wrapp with POS as the payment method and the amount goes to the device. On a card terminal, the terminal must be connected to the middleware before you charge: if it shows MIDDLEWARE CONN STATUS: OFF, press «ΣΥΝΔΕΣΗ MIDDLEWARE» (connect middleware). No charge starts from its keypad any more, and that is expected.
On SoftPOS you open the Connector and, in «ΠΙΝΑΚΑΣ ΕΛΕΓΧΟΥ» (dashboard), press «Η ΣΥΣΚΕΥΗ ΔΕΝ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΣΥΝΔΕΔΕΜΕΝΗ ΜΕ ECR» (device not connected to ECR) until it reads «Η ΣΥΣΚΕΥΗ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΣΥΝΔΕΔΕΜΕΝΗ ΜΕ ECR» (device connected to ECR). Issue the receipt in Wrapp, press the flashing «ΝΕΑ ΑΓΟΡΑ ΜΕΣΩ ECR» (new purchase via ECR) button, and the Connector takes you to epay SoftPOS, where the customer taps their card.
Through the API
If you connect terminals on behalf of your customers, the same connection is the POST /api/v1/pos_devices call: send pos_type epay and the code in authorization_code. Every field is in the REST API documentation, under POS Devices. Staging is self-serve: sign up for free with your VAT number and, once you have set a password, press «Try the API».
After the connection

Frequently asked questions
Where do I find the connection code (Authorization Code) for epay?
It depends on your device. On an epay card terminal you press «ΑΑΔΕ ΜΕΝΟΥ» (AADE menu) and «Λήψη κωδικού WebECR» (get WebECR code). On epay SoftPOS you open the epay SoftPOS Connector, go to «ΡΥΘΜΙΣΕΙΣ» (settings) and press «Δημιουργία OTP» (generate OTP). Either way the code goes in the same Wrapp field, Authorization Code.
Wrapp says the code is wrong or has already been used. What do I do?
The code is single-use, so it does not work a second time. Get a new one from the terminal or the Connector and enter it in Wrapp straight away, checking the digits carefully.
I have more than one epay terminal. Do I need a code for each?
No. With the code, Wrapp pulls in the terminals of your epay account by itself and lists them under your POS devices. If you add a terminal later, press «Scan for POS Terminals» on the connection page.
Why does the terminal show «ΑΝΕΝΕΡΓΟ ΠΛΗΚΤΡΟΛΟΓΙΟ» (keypad inactive)?
That is expected. Once the terminal is connected to an invoicing system, its keypad locks for sales, instalments, pre-authorisations, voids and refunds. Every charge starts from the receipt in Wrapp, and the amount goes to the terminal by itself.
The internet or the software is down. How do I take a card payment?
You declare the fault to AADE, then on the terminal press «ΑΑΔΕ ΜΕΝΟΥ» (AADE menu) and «Δήλωση Βλάβης» (declare fault). The terminal checks with AADE and unlocks the keypad for the period AADE sets. Once the fault is fixed, you declare that to AADE and the keypad locks again.
Which phones does epay SoftPOS run on?
Android phones with NFC running Android 11 or later. The epay SoftPOS Connector goes on the same phone as epay SoftPOS.
How do I issue a receipt with POS payment in Wrapp?
Once the connection is complete, you issue the receipt in Wrapp with POS as the payment method. The amount goes to the terminal or to SoftPOS, the customer pays by card, and the receipt and payment are transmitted to myDATA automatically.
I want to disconnect the terminal or connect it to another system. How?
After the connection, «ΑΠΕΝΕΡΓ/ΣΗ» (deactivate) is no longer offered. Go to «ΑΑΔΕ ΜΕΝΟΥ», «Ρυθμίσεις ECR» and under «Εκκαθ/ση Πρωτοκόλλου» (clear protocol) press «ΕΚΚΑΘ/ΣΗ» (clear), with no pending transactions in the batch. Then you set up the connection again from the start. Meanwhile the keypad stays locked.
