Connect WooCommerce to myDATA, step by step
Stop issuing receipts by hand for every order in your e-shop. You connect WooCommerce from inside Wrapp once, with no code and no plugin, and every order issues its own document and transmits it to myDATA. From Wrapp, an AADE-authorized ΥΠΑΗΕΣ provider.
Every WooCommerce order needs a document transmitted to myDATA. With Wrapp you do not issue it yourself: you connect your store once, and from then on every order issues its own document. Here is the whole connection, step by step.
At a glance
- No more receipts by hand: every order issues its own document.
- No plugin and no code: the connection uses WooCommerce's own REST API keys.
- You choose which orders are imported and which are ignored.
- Receipt or invoice, it works it out on its own.
- Credit notes for returns and delivery notes, automatically.
- You test free with your own data and pay only when you go live.
Still issuing receipts by hand?
For every order you open your WordPress admin, copy the customer and the products into your invoicing software, issue the document and send it. The more orders you get, the more time goes there, and every manual entry is a chance for a wrong VAT number or a wrong amount.
With Wrapp you do not enter customers, products or order numbers. The order lands in your store and the document is issued, transmitted to myDATA with MARK, UID and QR, and emailed to your customer.
What you need before you start
- Admin access to your store's WordPress, to create the REST API keys.
- Your business details: legal name, VAT number (ΑΦΜ) and a contact phone.
- Your store's URL, as your customers see it.
Connect WooCommerce to myDATA, step by step
-
Open your Wrapp account. Free, no card needed. We email you a link to set your password.
-
Press «Connect your e-shop». You find it inside Wrapp as soon as you sign in. You accept the connection and the setup guide opens in a new window, with no second sign-up. If it does not open, allow pop-ups in your browser.
-
Pick WooCommerce as your order source. The other platforms are in the same place, if you also sell elsewhere.
-
Fill in your business details: legal name, VAT number and a contact phone. Only the tax details that are required.
-
Connect the store. You enter your store URL and the two REST API keys, the Consumer key and the Consumer secret. You create them in WordPress under WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API, with «Add key». The «?» next to each field shows you where to find them. Then press «Connect and check».
-
Choose which orders are imported. You pick the order statuses that are imported, the ones that are ignored, and any payment methods you exclude. In the same step you switch on automatic issuing. Press «Save and import».
-
Done. Your WooCommerce orders show up on their own, ready for a document.
Which orders get a document
The ones you choose. By default, cancelled, refunded and failed orders are imported, so you can see them, but they do not get a document. You can also exclude specific payment methods. You can change these settings whenever you like.
Receipt or invoice? It works it out on its own
You do not pick a document type per order. If the buyer is a private individual, a retail receipt is issued. If the order carries a VAT number (ΑΦΜ), an invoice is issued with the buyer company details.
Credit notes and delivery notes, automatically
A return? A credit note is issued, linked to the original document, and transmitted to myDATA as well. Delivery notes are issued automatically too, on their own or together with the invoice. When you need a delivery note for courier shipments is explained in our delivery note guide.
Test before you pay
You run the whole flow on a staging environment, with your own orders, and watch the documents being issued before anything goes to myDATA. The connection is read-only: nothing changes in your store. When you are sure, you go live, and you pay only then.
Wrapp is an AADE-authorized electronic invoicing provider (ΥΠΑΗΕΣ). The legal issuer of every document remains your own business.
How you start
- Open your Wrapp account. Free, no card needed.
- Connect WooCommerce from inside Wrapp, with the steps above.
- Test with your own data on a staging environment.
- Go live. You pay only then.

Frequently asked questions
How do I connect WooCommerce to myDATA?
You open a free Wrapp account and press «Connect your e-shop». You pick WooCommerce, fill in your business details, enter your store URL and REST API keys, and choose which orders are imported. From then on every order issues its own document and transmits it to myDATA.
Do I need to install a WordPress plugin?
No. The connection uses REST API keys that WooCommerce itself creates. Nothing is installed in your store and you do not need a developer.
Where do I find my WooCommerce REST API keys?
In your WordPress admin, under WooCommerce → Settings → Advanced → REST API, with «Add key». WooCommerce gives you a Consumer key and a Consumer secret, which you paste into the connection. The «?» next to each field shows you where to find them.
Which orders get a document?
The ones you choose. You pick which order statuses are imported and which are ignored. By default, cancelled, refunded and failed orders are imported but do not get a document. You can exclude payment methods too.
Is it a receipt or an invoice?
It works it out from the order. A private buyer gets a retail receipt. When the order carries a VAT number (ΑΦΜ), an invoice is issued with the buyer company details.
What happens with returns?
A credit note is issued, linked to the original document, and transmitted to myDATA automatically. You do not go into myDATA to correct anything.
Does anything change in my store?
No. The connection is read-only: it reads your orders and changes nothing in WooCommerce. While you are testing, no document is issued either.
Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. You open a free Wrapp account, no card needed, connect WooCommerce and run the whole flow on a staging environment with your own data. You pay only when you go live.
I also sell on Skroutz. Can I connect both?
Yes. You connect each order source separately, from the same place inside Wrapp, and all your documents end up in one place.
